Announcements inside the organisation, with a record of who has read them.
What it is
Buzz is for announcements that need to reach a chosen set of people: a safety alert, a procedure change, a site notice. It is not email, and it is not a chat room. You write a post, choose the audience, and publish it.
Audience
Named people, a group, or everyone on a site's roster. The list of recipients is fixed at the moment you publish. Later changes to group membership do not add or remove people from that post.
A post can
- Require an acknowledgement, and show who has and has not confirmed
- Allow comments and a small set of reactions
- Carry up to six attachments
- Be saved as a draft, published now, or set to publish at a later time
- Send a reminder to people who have not acknowledged
Contractor contacts are not included in Buzz. The feed can be read on the phone from a saved copy; acknowledging, commenting, and posting need a connection.
